Apotheon Video Shows The Glory Of Olden Times
The Game Developers Conference (GDC) happened last week, and had loads of exciting things that poured forth from it. One such item is the footage that came from early version of Apotheon from Alientrap. It seems like only yesterday that news of this game was released, but I’m glad that we have something to feast our eyes on for the time being.
The storyline feels somehow similar to God of War, as it’s about toppling Gods from their seat of power, but it takes a different spin on things. In this world, Hera has gone mad with power, and it is your duty to stop her. Now I have no idea what relation your character has to Hera, but I’m sure that information will be revealed in time.
In this 2D action-RPG, you will have access to weapons like a slingshot, sword, shield, and javelin. Of course, you will also be able to use the different powers that you obtain from the gods as you progress, alongside buying and finding weaponry on your travels. This video really doesn’t do the artwork in this game justice, but I can imagine how it will look in all its glory when it is finally released.
