Bioware Announces Operation: Raptor Weekend For ME3

If you’re looking to unlock some new weapon upgrades and get your Effective Military Strength up in Mass Effect 3, then this weekend might be a good time to do it. Bioware has announced Operation: Raptor, which aims to promote 150,000 characters in just three day’s time.

The event starts Friday at 5PM PST, and runs until the same time on Monday. There are two separate goals for you to reach, one as an individual, and one as a collective. The individual goal is for you to promote 2 characters. Doing this will earn you a Commendation Pack. The second goal is hitting that 150,000 promotions that I mentioned above. If this number can be reached by 5PM on monday, everyone who participated will receive a Victory Pack.

There are a few details that you’ll want to keep in mind. First, this event is limited to Xbox 360 and PC players. Regarding the PS3, Bioware stated “we are continuing to work with Sony to enable these types of Operations on the PlayStation 3 platform. We appreciate your patience, and we expect an update later this week regarding Operation Raptor and the PlayStation 3.” The other thing you’ll want to keep in mind is that you’ll need to set “Upload Gameplay Feedback” to “on” in the online options. If you don’t, then your promotions will be in vain.
