Mass Effect 3 Face Import To Be Fixed In Upcoming Patch

Bioware has gotten a lot of flack for essentially disregarding the choices that players have made throughout the series. While you can argue as to whether or not they made the right decision with the ending, there is a bigger underlying problem with the game. One that dates back to the very first time you played the original Mass Effect. One that haunts you during every single dialogue option. Yes, I’m talking about the awful face imports.

Once again, Bioware has admitted that they realize that there is an issue. Furthermore, Chris Priestly has confirmed that the company is working on the problem, and will be fixing it in the next patch. Unfortunately what he couldn’t say was just when we could look forward to the update.

I suppose the question now is how they couldn’t have realized that this was an issue before the game was released. Granted, you did have the option to go in and manually alter your face, but it’s so hard to tweak things to look identical to the one you had. Let’s hope that this patch fixes the issue, even if most of us have already finished playing through.
