Looking to get your fill of e-Sports this weekend? If so, then you should turn your eye toward Orlando. Red Bull has assembled some of the top e-Sports Athletes from around the world to show off their skills at Full Sail University. A dozen players will be competing in StarCraft II, while a baker’s dozen will be clashing in Halo: Reach. The current roster for both games is as follows:
The event is a bit different from most, as it isn’t a traditional tournament. Rather, it’s a way to get some of the top players together to work on strategies, review gameplay footage, and run practice matches with some of the very same people they’ll compete against in the coming months. It’s also going to provide an interesting look into the world of professional gaming, as training sessions, as well as matches will be streamed each night.
The streams will take place each night this weekend, starting tonight at 6pm EST and running until midnight. You can find the streams on the official Red Bull LAN page, TwitchTV, and Day[9]. Commentators include Sean “Day[9]”Plott, Marcus “djWHEAT” Wheat, and Dave “Walshy” Walsh. We’ll be watching, will you?
