Theatrhythm Final Fantasy for 3DS

Square Enix looks as though they want to make as much money off of the Final Fantasy titles as humanly possible. Their most recent way of doing this, is by making a game called Theaterhythm Final Fantasy. This is definitely going to be the first musical rhythm-based game in the franchise.

Spanning 25 years of Final Fantasy games, and using more then 70 different scores, this is going to be a game of nothing but nostalgia for other games. Although it is mainly based on keeping with the beat, it does have some RPG elements to it. However, you will notice that there is a “slight” difference to the characters you once played as.

There will be different challenge modes to play in, with several familiar faces on both the side of good, and evil. You can collect and share random sheet music called “dark notes” that have all sorts of extra goodies, and look for cry It will only be available for the 3DS, and can be expected out sometime this summer.
