Warhammer Online: Wrath Of Heroes Enters Open Beta

BioWare announced yesterday that their new free-to-play game Warhammer Online: Wrath of Heroes has gone into open beta testing. Starting immediately, players “can challenge others to highly competitive, fast and frenetic arena-style PvP combat for free.”

The game is being developed by BioWare Mythic, a division of BioWare. It was responsible for Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning which came out in 2008. Wrath of Heroes is based in part off of Age of Reckoning.

The game features a unique PvP arena style of gameplay, where 3 teams of 6 players each group up and compete against the other two teams. As BioWare’s press release states, “with the instant playability of battles that last an intese 15 minutes, a small download size, and no cost to enter, Wrath of Heroes can scratch the competitive PvP itch for gamers of any type.” Overall, it sounds like it’ll be fun! If you want to check it out, you can sign up for the beta at www.wrathofheroes.com . Have fun!
