Gears of War: Judgment Will Release Next March

The new Gears of War: Judgment prequel has had fans all crazy with excitement since its initial reveal in Game Informer’s magazine. It was playable at E3, and during the event we learned more about the game’s new class-based multiplayer as well as the secrets behind what’s going on with the single-player campaign. Rod Fergusson has just announced that the game will be launching in March of 2013 which has gotten excitement piqued yet again.

Gears of War: Judgment follows both Cole and Baird as they’re being interrogated by the council. We’re introduced to two new squad members that lend their personality and skill to a newly-formed team. The game will explore the events that took place leading up to the first Gears title, though it won’t be doing too much prodding around Marcus Fenix’s predicament.

People Can Fly, the developer who brought us Bulletstorm, will be taking the helm with this game. They’ve introduced us to a new class-based multiplayer which is brand new in the series. At first I thought it was going to make the game tank but since I’ve seen more about it I’ve come to like what I found out. The game looks interesting and as a Gears fan I certainly won’t pass it up.
