Ubisoft hasdecided to let people across the pond get a chance to celebrate our Independance Day the right way by releasing a playable demo of Assassin’s Creed III. The demo will be distributed throughout local GAME stores over in the UK. Any of the British public will be able to sneak into the store and get their Creed on with the demo. It will be playable in GAME stores throughout Newcastle, London, Bristol, Nottingham, Manchester, and Glasgow.
Players will be able to step into Connor’s boots to explore the city of Boston as it grows from the ground up. You can hunt Templars, wander in the wilderness, hunt for game, and more. You’ll even be able to traverse the Caribbean high seas. There hasn’t been any word on if any demo will arrive here in the states or not, though we’d love to get our hands on it.
Alongside this news a new trailer for the game has released today. The new trailer is live-action, and has been given the name “Rise.” It shows the rise of our nation, depicting the struggles the Americans went through to gain their independence. Through it all, Connor is there to bring some balance to the Templar order that’s seeking their own plot behind the shadows. If there was ever a time to be excited for our freedom, and the Assassin’s Creed series, that time is now.
