Sideshow Diablo Statue Appears, Dude Looks Like A Lady

Last Friday, Blizzard released a new collectible statue at Comic-Con. The ultra-terrifying Diablo can pose forever in your room looking menacingly at your cat. He stands at 22 inches, and is made of polystone that looks to be all white.

There’s only one problem with this statue…it looks like a lady-demon. While I have absolutely no issue with ladies being demons, I’m pretty positive Blizzard wasn’t wanting Diablo to have a nice rack and thunder thighs. Yes he does look the same as in the game, but I think it’s the lack of coloration that is throwing this off.

He may be the prime evil, but he wasn’t pitched as a woman in the game, so this looks a little odd to me. It is definitely an amazing piece of artwork, but without the definition of color, it’s not as scary as it could be. Beware of spoilers, but go here to see what he looks like at the end of the game. This statue isn’t available just yet, but information on pre-ordering will be available in the future.
