Tales Of Xillia Is Coming To PS3

Tales of Xillia is the thirteenth in line of the Tales series for RPGs. The series has been going for about 15 years now in Japan, and has a huge array of work surrounding it. This ranges from flagship titles to animated productions, and bit and pieces in between.

If you’re unfamiliar with this game, Tales of Xillia is set in a world where spirits, demons, and humans coexist peacefully. Once the Rashugal kingdom starts trying to drain all the mana from the world, it’s up to you to make sure that stops. This game differs from other titles in the Tales series as it has two options for anime openings, depending on whether you choose Mila or Jude (your two main protagonists). There is also a different battle system called the Double Raid Linear Motion Battle System. You can link the two main characters’ artes, and have a fancy cinematic combo attack for the two characters.

Although Tales of Xillia was released in early September of 2011, it hasn’t quite made its way to the US yet. That has changed though, and it will be making an appearance on the PS3 sometime next year. No official word of an exact date yet though. The sequel to the game will be hitting Japan on November 1st of this year.
