Call Of Duty: Black Ops 2 To Come With 2 Special Editions!

When a company releases a special edition, they sometimes do crazy things with it. For example, in the StarCraft II special edition one of the things you got was a USB dog tag of protagonist Jim Raynor, and don’t forget the night vision goggles that came with Modern Warfare 2. But you know what? None of that is nothing compared to what Activision is doing with Black Ops 2.

The game will be coming with two version: the Hardened edition and the Care Package. The Hardened Edition is your “standard” special edition, as it comes with the Nuketown Zombies bonus map, the Nuketown 2025 (non-zombie version) map, the 2-sided SteelBook game case, 2 Challenge Coins (which serve to give you exclusive content), weapon camo,  2 player card backgrounds, the game’s soundtrack, and exclusive Xbox LIVE props and costumes (special themes for the PS3 version). That edition will run you about $79.99, and quite frankly, seems a little boring to me.

Well, you can liven up the party a bit if you have the extra $100 to shell out for the Care Package edition! For $179.99, you’ll get everything in the Hardened edition, but you’ll also get an exclusive toolbox. Now, while the toolbox might be a bit boring, it’s what’s inside that’s awesome, which is, I kid you not, a remote controlled MQ-27 Dragonfire Drone. I’m not going to lie, I think I’d end up playing with the quadcopter more than the actual game, because that sounds pretty awesome! Look for the editions to come out right beside the regular game on November 13th.
