Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Hearthfire DLC Confirmed

So you’ve battled vampires, werewolves, and defeated enough dragons to erect hundreds of skeletal monuments all throughout your journeys in Skyrim. You’ve wed the most beautiful woman (or man) in the land, and you’ve got a wonderfully beautiful home. You’ve accomplished so much, but you feel that there’s still something missing. There’s something creating a void that you just haven’t been able to fill. Well now you can.

Introducing Hearthfire – the brand new DLC for The Elder Scrolls V. Bethesda has officially announced it, confirming rumors that have been spreading for a little while now. In Hearthfire you can purchase land and build your own home from the ground up. You can construct a simple one-room cabin to a sprawling manor complete with an armory, stable, garden, and much more. Feel free to make use of all-new tools like the drafting table and workbench to transform stone and logs into all types of structures and furniture. And to make sure you’re never lonely again, you can move your spouse in and adopt some lovely children! Raise them as your own little beacons of terror.

Bethesda hasn’t yet released the last DLC, Dawnguard, for the PS3, and we’re greeted by yet another Xbox-exclusive DLC announcement. PS3 players aren’t exactly riveting with happiness over this. Xbox 360 owners can pick up the DLC on September 4th for just 400 Microsoft Points. Now you can Minecraft while you Skyrim, getting the most out of your gaming experience.
