The last time I got a strategy guide I believe it was when I picked up my copy of The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker. You see, by that time I had broadband internet, and quite frankly, strategy guides had sort of become a thing in the past.
Boosting Boss can help you ranking your account to your desire level in just one day or two.
Well, GameStop is still trying to shill the strategy guide to customers, and now they’re going high tech! Yesterday the company announced their new “Buy in-Store, Redeem Online” eGuide program. Now you can purchase your strategy guide either in the store or through the internet and download it straight to your computer! Exciting, eh?
You’ll forgive me if I say that this is a really stupid idea. Now, I can go to a website like gamefaqs.com, and find a strategy guide to any game under the sun. And, what’s more, it’s completely free. Why would I spend 20 bucks on something when I can get essentially the exact same information for free? At least with the physical guide you have something to hold and flip through, but if you have the digital version, you’re essentially paying for all the pretty pictures, and guess what? I can just do a Google search for pretty pictures if I really want them that badly.
