Halo 4 Pre Order Incentives Announced

Halo 4 is one of the biggest games of the year to be released this year, so it’s not to surprising to see that every retailer and their mother seems to have their own exclusive pre-order bonuses. After all, since it’s being released right at the start of the holiday season, and the fact that it’s Halo Freakin’ 4 it’s bound to sell millions of copies, from the gamers who have followed the series since its inception to the parents looking to put a good gift under the Christmas tree for their kid. A company would be stupid to offer pre-orders for the game but not offer any incentives to have a person pre-order from that store instead of the store across the street.

So which store should you pre-order you Halo 4 from? Well it depends on what you want really, though I’ll admit some store’s pre-order specials are quite a bit better than their competitions. For instance, if you pre-order from GAME in Europe you’ll get a special Blue Circuit Armour skin, an Arctic Weapon Skin, and 6 extra specializations. Tesco even offers a physical product, a Halo 4 T-shirt as well as the Black Raptor Armour skin. That’s quite a bit better compared to Shop2net’s “Downloadable Assassin Emblem”.

Here’s the full list:

  • GAME: Downloadable Blue Circuit Armour Skin, Arctic Weapon Skin and 6 specialisations
  • HMV: Downloadable Locus Helmet, Purple Spartan Warrior Armour and Xbox LIVE Unicom Avatar Armour (if ordered in-store)
  • Tesco: Halo 4 T-shirt and Downloadable Black Raptor Armour Skin
  • Amazon: Downloadable Gold Web Armour Skin, Bulletproof Emblem and Spartan Emblem
  • Blockbuster: Downloadable Xbox LIVE Spartan Warrior Avatar
  • Play: Downloadable Deadeye Helmet
  • Shop2net: Downloadable Assassin Emblem
  • Grainger Games: Downloadable Red Pulse Armour Skin
  • GameStop: Forest armor skin with customizable colors
