Call Of Duty 2013 Title Seems To Be Another Modern Warfare [Rumor]
Call of Duty: Black Ops II may have only come out this week, but that doesn’t mean people aren’t already talking about the next Call of Duty! As you may know, there are two different developers for the Call of Duty franchise, and as Techryarch developed Black Ops II, that means Infinity Ward will be the ones to develop next years Call of Duty. Will Infinity Ward finally step out of the Modern Warfare series and start a new story?
Unfortunately, if the rumors are true it looks like it’ll be the same-old Modern Warfare. According to a man going by the pseudonym “Ben Burke” Activision is doing voice work, and considering how one of the scenes that was recorded involves “Soap” MacTavish in a flashback, I’d say that there’s little chance of the next CoD being anything but a Modern Warfare game. But, all hope may not be lost.
As I said, the scene with Soap is apparently a flashback, and considering how one of the lines given talks of “Phuket” in the past tense I’d have to say that there’s a possibility that this game is a bit more futuristic. But, I have to wonder, with Black Ops II being futuristic as well, will this game do something like bridge the two series together? Perhaps it’ll serve to set up the world in Black Ops II?
