New LEGO Lord Of The Rings Game Recalled Over Printing Error

People who have bought the LEGO Lord of the Rings game may have noticed that something was a bit off. Apparently due to a printing error some of the discs were labeled as being demo discs. The issue at this time is only affecting Xbox 360 versions of the game.

Warner Brothers released a statement saying that while the discs were incorrectly labeled as being demo discs, they “do contain the full game content and are fully functional.” In other words, for those of you who don’t want to wait to get a replacement copy you can still play with these “demo” discs and everything will be just fine. Warner Brothers has pulled any remaining affected copies from the shelves, and are currently remaking the discs to get them back into stores as soon as possible.

If you bought a copy of the game and you want to get the correct disc you’re in luck. Just email support@wbgames.com or call 410-568-3680 and they’ll give you instructions on how to get your replacement disc. That seems pretty easy.
