BioShock Infinite Gets Pushed Back To March 2013

Earlier we let you know that we finally had a solid release date for Crysis 3. Now we have another release date for you, but unfortunately it’s for a game that’s already had a couple of dates announced. Today, Irrational’s Ken Levine announced that BioShock Infinite will not be hitting the February 26 street date that was announced back in May.

Thankfully, this time around, the delay isn’t nearly as bad as the last. The new date is March 26th, 2013, just a month later than we last heard. Last time it was a four-month delay, so I suppose we should be happy that it’s not so long this time around. As for the cause of the delay, it’s simply more polishing and bug fixing. “The game has to be the best game it could possibly be,” said Levine.
