Borderlands 2 DLC To Be Released January 15th!
Earlier this week there was a story that somebody had managed to access files from the latest update of Borderlands 2 that show what the next bit of DLC for the game would be. The DLC, he said, was called Sir Hammerlock’s Big Game Hunt, and it was to take place on another continent of Pandora. He was right, because yesterday Gearbox announced that the next DLC for Borderlands 2 is, well, Sir Hammerlock’s Big Game Hunt.
The DLC will be released on January 15th (January 16th for European PS3 owners), giving the people who are lucky enough to get this game for the holidays time to get to level 30. That’s because according to Kotaku this DLC is intended to be pretty hard, so don’t expect to steamroll through it. The DLC is free for people who have bought the season pass, but it’ll be around 10 bucks for everybody else.
In this DLC Sir Hammerlock has tasked you to go to the continent of Aegrus in order to give various exotic creatures the old “one-two”. However, while you’re there a Handsome Jack supporter named Professor Nakayama is there to enact his revenge on you for what you did to Handsome Jack. However, if you can survive the monsters and Nakayama you can be sure that there will be tons of loot for the taking! Happy hunting!
