Dead Space 3 Demo Coming Out January 22nd!

With the end of 2012 and the beginning of 2013 it’s time to start looking at the big games set to come out in the new year. Dead Space 3 is one of the first major blockbusters of 2013, and from what we’ve seen it looks like it’s going to be pretty good! The game isn’t set to come out until February 5th in North America (February 8th in Europe), but you don’t have to wait that long to get at least a taste of the game.

On January 22nd you’ll be able to download the demo for the PS3 and Xbox 360. If you sign up on http://demo.deadspace.com, however, Xbox 360 owners will get a chance of playing the demo a week early, on January 15th. Sadly, there was no mention of a PC demo but for all we know that might change by the time January 22nd comes around.

The demo itself has the “unwilling hero” Isaac Clarke crash land on the ice planet Tau Volantis, which is “teeming” with Necromorphs. The demo will also include co-op play as well, as Sergeant John Carver will be joining him on the surface of the planet. All in all, it sounds like the demo is going to provide a few good hours of entertainment, and give Dead Space fans enough of a taste to keep them happy until the game’s release!
