Star Wars: The Old Republic Raises Level Cap With First Expansion
Bioware has announced that it will be releasing a new expansion pack for its MMO, The Old Republic, which will raise the level cap from 50 to 55, allowing players access to new abilities, gear, and skills.
The expansion pack will continue the fully-voiced tradition and is titled “Rise of the Hutt Cartel.” Players will travel to the new planet Makeb and face off against “the nefarious Hutt Cartel and its massive new creatures and weapons of destruction.” Those who are interested in learning more about the expansion should check out the FAQ on The Old Republic’s website.
The expansion will be available for pre-order and purchase on the Old Republic’s website. No boxed version will be available. Anyone who pre-orders before January 7th will get 5 days of early access when the expansion is released.
