Age Of Conan’s New Map Will Scare Your Pants Off

So the grand WoW killer, Age Of Conan, is still alive and kicking, in case you weren’t aware. And one thing MMOs do from time to time is put out new content so you will, and can, keep playing them. Age of Conan: Unchained is no exception to this rule, and as such, have put out “Secret’s Of Dragon’s Spine“; a new area to explore and undoubtedly hundreds of new quests with which to level up your monster-killing skills.

The trailer, shown below, depicts a desert like landscape, rolling hills, thunderous mountains, deep caverns and-OH MY GOD WHAT IS THAT THING??! They also seem to have added what appears to be one of the most unsettling monsters I’ve yet come across in a videogame. Things you’d expect to have seen in Dante’s Inferno roam the moonlit wasteland taunting you with the prospect of nightmares. If you don’t believe me, check out the aforementioned trailer:

I have to say, I am quite impressed with the graphics.

Age Of Conan: Unchained is an MMO developed across the pond in Norway by Funcom, and is published by Eidos. It was released back in May of ’08 and was supposed to be one of the many foretold World of Warcraft killers. I presume they’re in it for the slow and steady victory, but if you would like to give them a hand in their battle, you can sign up on their Website, and play free. I love it when it’s free to play, don’t you?

Let us know in the comments, do you prefer a F2P/Microtransaction model, or the more traditional, all inclusive package?
