Most all of the LEGO games I’ve seen or played have been part of a pre-established franchise. Whether it’s a movie, comic book universe or otherwise, you normally already have a story to go off of for one of their games. It seems that the LEGO-verse is about to get a world of its own though, through LEGO Legends of Chima.
This new world will span across three different games, coming out for various platforms. They will all be interconnected, and take place in a land that is ruled by magical animal tribes. The first of these games to come out will be the LEGO Legends of Chima: Speedorz which is a racing mini-game. This will be available on iOS, as well as the LEGO website.
The next game won’t come out until the Summer for 3DS and Vita. It has been dubbed LEGO Legends of Chima: Laval’s Journey, and it will also come to the DS this Fall. The final game in this new universe will be the LEGO Legends of Chima Online, which will be a FTP online world. The reward system they have set up for this trio of games includes something called the Chima Vault, which you will be able to access on the aforementioned website. You’ll be able to earn points and redeem them for more content.
