Assassin’s Creed IV Release Date Leaked

Assassin’s Creed IV has been announced, but let’s be honest, we don’t really know much about it. We know that it’s title Black Flag and it appears to take place on the high seas and (presumably) various ports. Unfortunately, Ubisoft is waiting until next Monday to reveal any other details.

However, it looks like the cat is out of the bag! DarkZero was able to circumvent Ubisoft’s best protection (by adding the letter ‘v’ to the end of the URL) and came up with this picture you see above. That’s right, folks, it looks like (barring any setbacks) that ACIV will be coming out this October 29th.

When Ubisoft first announced the existence of ACIV we were told that the game would be released on the Xbox 360, PS3, PC, and Wii U, with no mention of the next generation of consoles. However, as you can see in the screengrab, the game will be out for the next generation of consoles (the PS4 and Microsoft’s next console) as well. Unless those new consoles come out early, like in September, I’m going to assume that those versions will come out as launch titles for those systems.
