Batman: Arkham Origins May Have Multiplayer
According to sources close with Kotaku, it appears that the next game in the Arkham series, Arkham Origins, may contain multiplayer. According to Kotaku, the source is seen as being reputable because of how earlier in the year they had tipped them off about the name of the game and the cover before it was announced.Batman: Arkham Origins was originally announced earlier this month.
According to the source, the multiplayer will have you play as a member of Joker or Bane’s gang and you’ll try to take down Batman and Robin. The villains in this multiplayer include Killer Croc, Deadshot, Firefly, Black Mask, and Deathstroke. There’s no word yet if this is a “1 vs. many” type of thing, where one player will be Batman, and everybody else tries to take him down, or if Batman will be computer controlled.
Keep in mind, though, that this is all just a rumor from somebody. Of course, it’s very possible thatArkham Origins will go with the multiplayer. After all, it is being developed by a new studio this time, so it wouldn’t be too surprising to see them do something to make their mark on the series.
