Earlier today, after the unveiling of the Xbox One, Ubisoft confirmed that it would be releasing its two most anticipated games of this coming holiday season for the Xbox One. This may come as no surprise, as it was confirmed earlier in the year that these two titles would also be released for the upcoming PS4 as well.
Watch Dogs features a vigilante lead running through the streets of Chicago, using his mobile device to hack into just about anything electronic to further his progress in the game. Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag follows the tale of Edward Kenway, an 18th-century privateer-turned-pirate and his struggle with the templars.
The two games will be of six major titles that have been announced for the new console so far, presumably with many more on the way once E3 rolls into town. Assassin’s Creed 4 and Watch Dogs have been confirmed for Xbox 360, PS3, and a Wii U release as well, with AC4’s release being October 30th. Watch Dogs has yet to see an official date scheduled.
