EA’s press conference for E3 2013 had good news for fans of the Dragon Age franchise. The Dragon Age twitter was eagerly tweeting and retweeting during the EA conference to hype itself up for its brief appearance, wherein they showed a brief trailer with a hint of what to expect in the upcoming game, which can be viewed below.
The trailer featured narration by the first game’s well-loved/hated character, Morrigan. She speaks of a war tearing apart the world, as a defeated Varric (the smart-mouthed dwarf from Dragon Age 2) clutches a corpse’s head. Morrigan then poses a question to the viewer: Will you stand against the darkness? Or lead the world into it?
Dragon Age: Inquisition will be released Fall 2014 for PC, PS3, Xbox 360, the PS4, and the Xbox One. It was stressed during the announcement that they would be taking their time to release this game–no doubt in response to the massive fan backlash to the lackluster Dragon Age 2.
