PS4 Games To Remain At $60 As Well

With each new generation of consoles there are always some new questions that need to be answered. How do the consoles perform? What exclusive games do they have? And how much will these games cost?

It had been speculated that this next generation of consoles would start selling their games for $70, ten dollars more than the previous generation. Luckily, that doesn’t appear to be the case, as Microsoft has revealed that they will selling their games for $59.99 for the Xbox One. What’s more, Sony has confirmed that they will be selling games for the PS4 at that same price.

Needless to say, this is pretty good news, especially if you buy several games at launch in a given year. While it would be nice to see console games come back to the $49.99 price point that they used to be, the fact is games are becoming much more expensive to create these days, and with ever-increasing inflation that means your getting less for your dollar. If you think of it that way, that means gaming has become cheaper than ever (especially if you wait a few weeks for a nice sale)!
