GameStop Managers Getting Free PS4 For Themselves *EDIT: Xbox One Too!*

When you work in certain industries, you tend to get some awesome perks. For example, some folks who work for the healthcare industry might get access to cheap health insurance, while a car salesman might get the chance to go out and borrow that brand new car for a little while. The gaming industry is no different, as it appears that GameStop managers will all be getting their own PS4s for free.

The news came out of the company’s GameStop EXPO in Las Vegas over the weekend,  along with the news that each manager will also get 7 games as well. They’ll get Killzone: Shadowfall, NBA 2K14, Madden, FIFA 14, Need for Speed: Rivals, Battlefield 4 and Beyond: Two Souls. It has been confirmed that Beyond will only be for the PS3, and that “Some (games) are physical and some are digital vouchers.”

That’s a pretty sweet deal, if I do say so myself. With that in mind, don’t be too surprised if the managers seem to push the PS4 over the Wii U and Xbox One. Even if Sony wasn’t the ones providing the free system, fact is those managers can get more hands-on experience with PS4 exclusives and will thus have more knowledge of the system in the first place.

EDIT: It appears that those managers will be getting an Xbox One as well. No word yet on what games they’ll get.
