Battlefield 4 Specs Have Been Revealed

If you’re looking to playBattlefield 4 on your PC, then I hope you’ve spent the time and money to beef up that machine! DICE revealed the PC requirements for the game earlier this week, and it’s going to be quite taxing for any system. You might have to blame the PS4 and Xbox One for the leap in requirements.

The minimum recommendations aren’t too terrible: a dual core processor, 4 GBs of RAM, and an AMD Radeon HD 3870/NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT are about what you need. However, their recommended requirements are a bit through the roof. For instance, they want you have 64-Bit Windows 8 on there, with a quad core (Intel) or six core (AMD) processor, 8 GBs of RAM, and an AMD Radeon HD 7870/NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 with 3 GBs of graphics memory!

Hopefully you also have a large hard drive available as well. BF4 will eat up 30 GBs of disc space on your drive, and that number will undoubtedly be higher once you factor in the 20 tons of DLC EA and DICE will have for the game. So if you’re looking forward to BF4 and you haven’t updated your computer in a few years, it might just end up being a bit more expensive than you originally thought if you want to get the game to look its best.
