Warner Bros. Announces Injustice: Gods Among Us Ultimate Edition

Injustice: Gods Among Us was a smash hit last year for Warner Bros. And really, it’s pretty easy to see why as you have a plethora of DC characters duking it out in this fighter, with tons of different modes and DLC available. It’s no surprise then that this fighter is getting an Ultimate Edition then, is it?

Injustice: Gods Among Us Ultimate Edition is set to come out November 12th in the Americas (November 29th elsewhere). As befitting of the title, this edition will contain every bit of DLC available for the game, which is quite the deal when you consider the fact that the original base game plus the DLC comes out to over $120! It’s set to come out for most major systems, including the PS3, Xbox 360, PC, PS Vita, and the PS4.

The PS4 version in particular will “feature Touchpad functionality, video sharing and streaming, and will link to players’ PlayStation® Network Feed page during match wrap-ups and pause menus.” What’s interesting to note is that there is no Xbox One version of this game to be seen. It’s too early in this new console generation to really read into it, but it’s still telling to see that they’re not bothering with that version, at least at this time. It’s possible, of course, that at some point down the road they’ll release the Xbox One version, but for now it’s a PS4 exclusive, as far as the next generation is concerned.
