Don’t Starve, Binding Of Isaac To Be PS+ Free Titles At Launch

One of the things Sony has really been adamant about is how they’re planning on catering to indie developers, the little guys of the industry. It’s been proven time and time again, from showcasing indie developers and what they’re working on during major conferences, to the fact that they’re giving indie games the spotlight at launch by giving away Resogun and Contrast away for free for PS+ members. This exposure is only going to get bigger.

A Sony representative told Joystiq that Don’t Starve, already out on the PC, will be available for free for PS+ members when the game is released on the PS4 in January 2014. And what’s more, that game will also have support for remote play as well at launch, just like many other big-name titles. They’re also thinking of making a native Vita version, but that may not come out for some time.

The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth is also due sometime in early 2014. The rep had confirmed that the title will also be available for free for PS+ members when it is released. If you’re waiting for a big title to come out for free on the PS+ though, you might just have to wait a little while. After all, the PS4 isn’t going to have a sizable library for some time, especially since it isn’t out yet!
