Sony’s PlayStation Plus is a pretty good service, adding functionality like cloud save storage and also free games for $50 per year. And now with November giving way into December, it’s time to look at just what free games Sony will be giving to users of the service for the next month. Next month’s offerings are looking pretty good if I do say so myself…
For the PS3 they’ll be putting 3 games up for grabs throughout the month. GRID 2 is a racing game where “you join the elite in ‘World Series Racing’ where the greatest cars, drivers and events come together in the search for a new motorsport icon”. Dyad is also a racer, but in this game you “experience transcendental sensory overload in this abstract psychedelic racer.” Both games look great, but perhaps the best game to come out next month is no other than Borderlands 2!
For the Vita, you can pick up Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed and Urban Trial Freestyle. PS4 owners, however, are going to be getting the short end of the stick due in part to the fact that PS4 was just released this month. No new games will be coming up for free, but you can still pick up Resogun and Contrast for free! Here’s hoping that some more games start popping up in January! And folks, if you’re thinking of picking up PlayStation Plus to take advantage of these free games, for today only you can pick up a year of the service for 20 bucks off from Amazon, GameStop, Walmart, Toys R Us, and Best Buy!
