So You Want To Work For GamerFront?

Have you ever imagined being a part of the gaming industry? Ever wanted to share your opinions with thousands of dedicated readers? Do you want to go to industry shows like E3, PAX, and more? If so, then GamerFront might be the perfect place for you.

We’re looking for individuals who share our passion for gaming, and want their voice heard by a larger audience. Since we cover a broad spectrum of news, there is room for just about every type of gamer on our team. It doesn’t matter whether you’re a hardcore competitive gamer, or you just enjoy casual single-player games on the weekends, it takes all kinds to run a gaming site.

So what do we do here at GamerFront? We spend a lot of time reporting on the news, to keep our readers up-to-date with everything happening in the industry. We also play games and test hardware, so that we can provide unbiased feedback to our readers. From time to time we attend industry events such as E3, professional eSports events put on by MLG, and even large LAN parties. Depending on the nature of the event, we’ll report on announcements, or simply provide our readers a look inside events that they might not be able to attend in-person.

While our site is growing, we are not currently able to compensate our writers monetarily, however, there are a number of perks that we can provide. These include passes to major gaming events, access to new games, hardware, and more.
We are primarily looking for staff members located in southern Indiana, specifically Bloomington, Indiana, where our office is located. However, we encourage anyone who is passionate about the gaming industry to apply. Those located locally, or those in the Los Angeles area will be given priority.

One of the reasons we prefer local team members is that we can work more closely with each other. We’re able to have in-person meetings, and to do fun things together like have regular game nights. We treat our team members as more than just co-workers. We’re a group of friends who are passionate about gaming.

Below is a list of positions we are currently looking to fill. We understand that not everyone who is interested will have experience writing news articles. That’s perfectly okay, because this is a great place to learn, and we’re happy to teach! Just bear in mind that you will need to have a good grasp of the English language, and be able to submit work that is relatively free of spelling and grammatical errors.
