Billy Corgan To Be Featured In Guitar Hero: World Tour

There were rumors earlier in the year that Smashing Pumpkins front man Billy Corgan would be featured as an in-game character in the upcoming Guitar Hero: World Tour. Activision has come forth and confirmed the rumor, and announced some additional Pumpkins DLC.

The only playable Smashing Pumpkins track that will be available on the disc is “Today”, though you’ll have access to a three-pack of songs sometime after the game launches. “1979” and “The Everlasting Gaze” will sit along side the new single “G.L.O.W.” in the Pumpkins three-pack. According to the press release, “G.L.O.W.” has actually been specially recorded so that it can be launched in-game before it is made available through any other medium.
