BioWare Says There Is Still Life In Jade Empire
I’ve played a lot of games over the years, owned a lot of different systems, and dabbled in many different gaming genres. Throughout my gaming career one title has stood out from the rest, and that title was Jade Empire. This game was an amazing RPG created by the masterminds at BioWare, and it redefined for me the gaming world as I knew it. For year’s I’ve seen the company produce great titles, and I’ve always asked, “Why BioWare? Why not bring back this amazing game?” Well, apparently the BioWare gods have heard my prayers, and have spoken.
Though nothing was guaranteed, at the Eurogamer Expo BioWare’s founders stated that Jade Empire is “a setting that we’re really passionate about, and we still are.” There aren’t any immediate plans to revive the title, but the company says they’re “just looking for the right way to deploy it.” While there’s nothing set in stone, the title isn’t dead and it’s great news that the developer has plans for its revival.
If any of you gamers out there haven’t had the chance to enjoy Jade Empire, you can pick it up on Xbox Live as a downloadable title.
