“Still Alive” Reimagined In Minecraft

These Minecraft creations are becoming quite a hobby of mine. It’s sort of like driving around during the Christmas season to see all the lights on peoples’ houses. You just want to see more and more…

Anyway.

Youtube user Tritex989 used the new note blocks feature in Minecraft to recreate the famous “Still Alive” song from the end of Portal. The song, while not perfect due to the limited octave restrictions, is quite the masterpiece. The video posted below shows this amazing creation in action, and it has everything – from animals roaming in the background to cake being shot out of a cannon.

Brilliant.
