Double Fine Kickstarer Ends With Astounding Results
If you haven’t heard already, the Double Fine Kickstarter was funded. Well, when I say funded, I really mean that it hit the cut off date to receive anymore money. The end result was a big ole pile of money, and now we sit in wait.
For those of you who are just now tuning into this endeavor, this project was fully funded on day one. Well, it was actually funded in the first eight hours. Over the 45 days that it was live, we got to see an adventure in and of itself unfold.
There were update videos, awesome incentives for backers, and the end product will hopefully give us a shiny game that will rock our socks off. Now for the part you’ve all been waiting for. The end total was a whopping $3,335,371, which is eight times more than the intended goal. Needless to say, they had a party, and victory shouts were had by all.
