Take A Look At Nekro – A New Top-Down Game From darkForge
Upcoming game developer darkForge is working on a new title that takes the best of the top-down RPG titles that we know and love, and put their own sadistic twist on things. Their new game is called Nekro, and it’s being worked at furiously by two particular developers who are giving their all to the project. Thus, they’ve created a Kickstarter to ask for some help from the community.
In Nekro, players will assume the roll of a powerful necromancer who is out for blood revenge against a corrupt king. This king has your soul trapped between both the living and the dead planes, and you’ll exact every power at your disposal to wreak havoc on the pungent humans who skitter across the land. There will be plenty of powers under your finger, such as possession, and summoning the dark forces to manifest into demonic creatures who have insatiable hunger.
The developer is asking for a whopping $100,000 to create the full game, and only has 18 days to amass the $85,000 it still needs. It’s worth checking out, and donating to if you’re a fan of dark RPG titles. Especially those fans of Diablo, they need to jump on this immediately. There’s dark power, revenge, and super sweet demonic exploding dudes – what’s not to love?
