Saints Row The Third – Enter The Dominatrix Expansion Announced
Can’t get enough of the ridiculous shenanigans in Saints Row 3? Sure, beating people to death with a giant dildo is fun for a while, but sometimes you need to spice things up. Maybe even get a little kinky. If that sounds like where you want your gaming experience to go, then you’re going to want ‘Enter the Dominatrix’.
THQ has officially announced this standalone expansion with obviously dirty undertones. But what does it bring? Here’s what Danny Bilson, Executive VP of Core Game Production at THQ had to say: “Faster than a speeding cyber jetbike, more powerful than a roided-out Luchadore, able to leap flying aircraft carriers in a single bound… That’s the power you’ll find inside the Dominatrix. Use it for good. Use it for evil. Use it for whatever you want. As always in Saints Row, it’s up to you.”
That’s right, apparently dominatrixes have super powers. Come to think of it, the last one I visited did have an uncanny ability to make me scream… Actually, the whole thing, title included, is a play on the plot of ‘The Matrix’.
Essentially an alien warlord has decided to take over the Earth, and to get the Third Street Gang out of the way, he imprisons them within a virtual reality simulation. “This simulation program looks and feels like Steelport, but it is the world that has been pulled over your eyes to blind you from the truth. Here, you are a slave. Welcome… to the Dominatrix.”
Expect more details on this standalone expansion (no, not DLC) sometime later this summer. We already know that THQ won’t be showing anything off at a booth at E3. However, we’ll try to track them down and get more info when we’re there.
