Around here we love any news of a game branching out and hitting other platforms. After all, who wants to be left out of the fun, just because they don’t own the right console, or a PC? Well if you’ve been staring longingly at Double Fine’s Iron Brigade from afar (on your PC), then you’ll be happy to know that you’re going to get a chance to take the game for a spin.
Yesterday Double Fine announced that the game will no longer be an Xbox Live Arcade exclusive. Beginning on August 13th, the game will be available on Steam for the very first time. What’s more, the PC version of the game will include the expansion, Rise of the Martian Bear (Martian bears sound awesome, by the way).
And for those of you who do have a 360 and haven’t bought the game, you’re in luck as well. The game has dropped in price to a mere 800 Microsoft points. Unfortunately we don’t yet know how much it will cost on the PC. Then again, we won’t have too long to wait to find out.
