War For Cybertron 2 Is Coming

Hasbro has confirmed earlier this week that a sequel to the compelling third person shooter, Transformers: War For Cybertron, is currently in development and it will be coming sometime in 2012.

“This is the most highly-rated, critical success of any game that’s had the Hasbro brand yet and we’re looking forward to a sequel in 2012,” stated Mark Blecher,  General Manager of Digital Media & Gaming.

High Moon Studios is suspected to be developing the sequel, as they did the first one. Blecher also mentioned that Transformers: Dark of the Moon will be released in 2011 to coincide with the launch of the movie. Dark of the Moon is a newly-developed Transformers MMO, being developed by NetDragon.
