Unlock The Original Plasma Cutter In Deadspace 2 With A Save File

For fans of the original Dead Space (like myself), do we have a special treat for you. If you have a save file from the original Dead space on your hard drive – whether it be completed or not – the file will unlock the original Plasma Cutter for use in Dead Space 2. This comes in super handy if you’re one of those hardcore players who collected the achievement in the original game that requires you to beat the game using only that gun.

While the gun is accessible from the beginning in Dead space 2, the upgrades Isaac acquired for it in the original do not carry over. It will still take you a while to get the gun back up to par.

Oh well, it’s nothing you can’t handle, right?
