Ico, Shadow of the Colossus, and The Last Guardian Delayed
Sony has announced a worldwide delay for The Last Guardian as well as the Shadow of the Colossus/Ico Collection for the Playstation 3. On the PlayStation Blog the game’s creator, Fumito Ueda, stated that the release date had to be pushed back in order “to provide more challenging and better quality content to users and to fulfill First Party Studio’s obligations.” He tells us that the development team is working hastily to get the titles out to players everywhere.
“I sincerely apologize to all customers who have been waiting for The Last Guardian for so long,” Ueda says, “but I beg for your patience. I will also announce the new release timing at a later time.” I Guess good things come to those who wait, right? We’ll keep you posted when we hear something regarding a solid release date.
