We know that Grand Theft Auto IV is coming to the PC, but when a console that looks this great makes its way to the PC platform, one always wonders just how much power you’ll need to run it. While Rockstar hasn’t yet announced the minimum system requirements, here’s what they recommend:

• OS: Windows XP SP2
• Processor: Dual core processor (Intel Pentium D or better)
• RAM: 2GB
• Hard Drive: 18GB free hard disk space
• Video Card: 512MB Direct3D 10 compatible video card or Direct3D 9 card compatible with Shader
• Drive: DVD-ROM dual-layer drive

Honestly, these specs don’t look too bad. Sure, some people might need to throw an extra stick of RAM in their machine, but then again these are just the recommended, I’m sure it’ll run on less. That 18GB install might hurt a bit if you’re still running off of an old 80GB drive. Hard drives are cheap, so if you’re running out of room, it’s time to upgrade. You have until November 18th to get your system up to snuff.
