Europe Getting DSi Next Spring, US Getting It Sometime Later

Yesterday brought us the news of Nintendo’s latest handheld, the DSi, which looks pretty slick. We were informed that Japan would be getting units first, with a launch date of November 1st. Surely the rest of the world wont’ have to wait too much longer, right?

It looks like Europe will be getting the new DSi sometime next spring, which isn’t too bad. However, we here in the US don’t really know when we’re getting it. The best answer we could get was “well into 2009”. Looks like we know what Nintendos big holiday item will be next year.
