Square Enix Develops An iPhone Exclusive Title

The iPhone has definitely turned some heads in the gaming industry. We’ve already seen some cool games from large publishers, and even a couple of studios formed with the sole intention of developing titles for Apple’s phone. However, you know that you’ve made a solid platform when Square Enix decides to develop a game exclusively for your hardware.

This winter we can expect a Final Fantasy related game dubbed Crystal Defenders. This is a map-based “defense simulation” game which will rely heavily on the iPhone’s touch screen for controls. We’ll definitely keep you posted on this one.
