Rumor – Black Wii Hitting North America Next Month

Are you tired of staring at that white Wii in your living room? With a black TV, black Xbox 360 and a black PS3, it does sort of stand out. We’ve seen Nintendo release the darker version of their console in other countries, but we’ve yet to see it show up on our shores. However, if recent rumors are to be believed, it may be on shelves early next month.

Retailers such as Target, Gamestop and Future Shop have all leaked details on the upcoming launch of the black Wii. In addition to the console, we should be seeing a black Wiimote and Nunchuck along with both Wii Sports titles and a Wii MotionPlus in the box. According to the rumors, we’ll be seeing this on May 9th for $200.
