Activision Registers ‘GoldenEye’ Domain Name
GoldenEye is one of those games that brings back warm fuzzy memories of my youth. Countless hours were spent either trying to complete levels in impossible time limits, or killing my friends in multiplayer. It is one title that I (and many others) have been itching to see re-released on XBLA or PSN. Last month’s release of Perfect Dark was nice, but just wasn’t the same.
With all of the legal disputes over the ownership rights, it’s unlikely that a true re-released version of the game will ever see the light of day. However, it seems that Activision may have something in the works. The company has registered the domain name goldeneyegame.com. While this probably doesn’t mean a re-release of the classic game, it’s certainly worth keeping an eye on.
