Golden Sun: Dark Dawn Release Date Announced

For a long time Golden Sun was a major title among RPG games, and fans alike. The game seemed to wander off for a while, leaving us all in wonder of what was happening with the title.

Well now we can come out of hiding because the shadows have dissipated from the title and we now know what Nintendo has in store for us.

Nintendo announced this morning that the new title in the Golden Sun series, Golden Sun: Dark Dawn, will be arriving in stores this November 29th for the Nintendo DS system(My birthday!).

the game takes place thirty years after the events of Golden Sun and Golden Sun: The Lost Age for the Gameboy Advance.Nintendo says that Golden Sun: Dark Dawn will send players into a “planet-sized world of adventure to explore and conquer.”

In this title the player can carry a Djinn that grants the special abilities to the character that the player chooses. There are more than seventy of these Djinn to collect and tote around, some granting the ability to summon epic deities who will share their knowledge by unleashing attacks that fill both Nintendo DS screens. Some of the other abilities include freezing water to raise platforms, flinging fireballs to clear obstacles, and summoning whirlwind tornadoes to create bridges out of floating objects.

This seems to be the Golden Sun we have all been waiting for. You can pick it up this November and continue the epic journey.
