Alan Wake “The Writer” DLC Now Has A Date

Yesterday Microsoft informed us that the twisted tale of Alan Wake would meet its end this October 12th. “The Writer”, the game’s final DLC package, will then become available for download on Xbox Live.

The new DLC will stitch together the loose ends that the previous DLC, “The Signal”, left players with. The Writer will find Wake being guided by the mysterious diver dude, Thomas Zane, while he tries to climb out of the nightmare he finds himself in.

The Writer will release on Xbox live October 12th for 560 Microsoft Points.Enjoy the trailer for the DLC below.
